Bill Rice from Utah Property Solutions explains the move-in and inspection process for new residents. A few days before move-in, the team conducts a detailed inspection and maintenance check to ensure the home is clean, safe, and fully functional. This includes checking landscaping; testing all appliances like the microwave, stove, oven, fridge, and dishwasher; and verifying lighting, plumbing, and garbage disposal. They inspect under sinks for leaks, ensure drawers and cabinets are clean and working, and check that bathrooms are fully operational, including toilets, showers, and fixtures. Bedrooms are reviewed for hardware function, proper door stops, smoke detectors, and overall cleanliness. The mechanical room is also assessed, with a new furnace filter installed and systems like the water heater and furnace confirmed to be in working order. Once the inspection is complete, the home is move-in ready, and residents are encouraged to reach out with any questions or needs.
